I'm a simple emigrant and against drugs

But what about marijuana? Here the question is more about legality than about love. Traditionally, people are divided into two groups: those who support its legalization and those who oppose it. In Canada and in most U.S. states, cannabis use is permitted not only for medical purposes; in Russia it's banned entirely, and the European Union has no unified stance. Each country here is free to choose what it deems necessary. In Germany, distribution is prohibited, and use is decriminalized (unless, of course, you have 42 kilograms with you). Today the German-language Internet was buzzing with the news that three ruling parties had reached an agreement to legalize cannabis. That means licensed stores will open across the country, where a tested product will be sold, accessible to every adult, and taxes, accordingly, will go to the state treasury. A study by German economists says that Germany will 'benefit' from cannabis legalization by about 4.7 billion euros per year through tax and social insurance contributions and savings on costs related to the illegal trade. Personally, I don't have a clear opinion on whether it's good or bad. The famous street in Frankfurt already looks like the one in the photo. It's unclear whether the situation will improve or get worse. There's also the thought that the new government wants to quickly win universal love. Or maybe they've simply come up with a way to help people cope with our COVID reality, since everyone handles it with varying degrees of success. And what do you think about legalization of cannabis for personal use? #Ordnung
