I'm a simple emigrant and against drugs

But what about marijuana? Here the question is more about legality than about love. Traditionally, people are divided into two types: those who support its legalization and those who are against. In Canada and most US states, cannabis use is allowed not only for medical purposes; in Russia it is forbidden altogether, and the European Union has no common decision. Each country here is free to choose what it deems necessary. In Germany, distribution is prohibited, and consumption is decriminalized (if you, of course, don't have 42 kilograms with you). Today the German-speaking Internet was buzzing with the news that three ruling parties reached an agreement on the legalization of cannabis. That is, licensed shops will be opened nationwide, where a certified product will be sold, accessible to every adult, and the taxes, accordingly, will go to the state treasury. In a study by German economists it is said that Germany will "gain" from cannabis legalization about 4.7 billion euros per year through contributions to taxes and social insurance and savings on costs related to the illegal trade. Personally, I don't have a definite opinion as to whether it's good or bad. The famous street in Frankfurt already looks the way it does in the photo. It's not clear whether the situation will change for the better or for the worse. There's also the thought that the newly formed government wants to quickly win universal love. Or perhaps they simply came up with an opportunity to help people cope with our COVID reality, since everyone is dealing with it with varying degrees of success. And what do you think about legalization of cannabis for personal use? #Ordnung
