I'm a simple emigrant and I can't bear to wait

Yes, I remember that we are in Germany. Moreover, the universe with its sense of humor decided that what I need most in the world is a partner who doesn’t acknowledge all this earthly bustle. We discussed with friends the topic of rushing: I asked what you would choose—to hurry to catch the first bus or not to hurry, but wait for the second bus for a full hour. And an interesting thing happened: all the Germans said that they can’t stand rushing and would rather calm down, whereas foreigners would rather sweat it out just to avoid waiting. Of course, the sample is small, but a certain pattern can be traced, and it reflects the way of life well. In our family, it was customary: after school straight to university. No one had even heard of the concept of a gap year. And in general, by 30 you should have your life completely arranged: there should be a family with three children, a house, a car, a dog, and a plot on the Moon. Meanwhile, no one said what to do with the rest of life. Apparently, you could even die there, from a micro-stroke, or at least from boredom. And in Germany, it seems to me, until 30 people often don’t even know what they want to do. And, most importantly, no one asks that of them. On the one hand, it’s good that there isn’t such pressure, as if every day the whole of your life is irrevocably decided. On the other hand, I know many girls who find it hard to build relationships. Locals often wait for proposals for years. Emigrant women, though, have already moved to a new country on their own at their age, and a guy on a date tells them that he’s discovering himself. And the girls are like: great, explore, of course, but not with me. I, myself, have long since calmed down. Now I like something in between: not postponing truly important things, but in daily life rushing only when necessary, for example, so as not to miss a flight. And in all other things, to adopt the local style and not create unnecessary fuss, just lean back in the chair and wait for your German passport for three years.
