I'm a simple emigrant and I have no talent for drawing
But I've always had the desire to create a masterpiece, or to draw a small picture, or to make at least some object of art. And recently I came across a workshop on fluid art. Fluid art is a technique in which paints are poured onto a canvas without using brushes or other tools. Only a canvas, paints, and a little water. The workshop was held at the studio heART Lab in Frankfurt, and the price is 45 euros (~3800 rubles). At the master class we were given a medium-sized canvas, an apron, and gloves, and the process began. Fortunately, the whole group was Russian-speaking, and everything took place in our native language, which significantly made my task easier. About an hour later we listened to the briefing, mixed the paint with water, mixed the colors with sticks (which, by the way, themselves become such masterpieces that sometimes you want to take them home too), applied a base, and approached the most interesting part: the smooth pouring of colors. As the paint flows, it spreads and turns into magic; after this the canvas still needs to be rotated so that there is no empty space. Although, in reality, at this stage there are no rules left at all: everyone paints as they wish. Therefore fluid art appealed to me and, I think, will suit everyone. This painting is simply impossible to do incorrectly; you can always say “That’s exactly what I intended.” I liked the idea and the technique itself, though it seems pricey. I think I will look for special fluid art kits and will periodically “draw” something. And have you ever tried? #frankfurt
