I'm a simple emigrant and I like watching beautiful fireworks

This New Year's Eve in Germany there were unusually many fireworks. I think people have stockpiled them at home from previous years: for two years in a row the government prohibited launching fireworks. For German fireworks enthusiasts this is a disaster, because under normal circumstances fireworks in Germany can be sold and set off for only three days a year: from December 29 to December 31. I understand your indignation: for weddings, birthdays and any other personal occasions you can use pyrotechnics, but only after permission from the responsible authority and in the presence of a professional. These are the main points, in fact the rules are much more numerous, and they are written, by the way, by the German Interior Ministry. Of course, such strict restrictions were not always in place. They were introduced due to the continually increasing number of not-so-bright people using firecrackers and pyrotechnics not for their intended use. In principle, I, like most Germans, see nothing wrong with these safety measures. I remember, one time at my school some idiot threw such a firecracker right on the stairs. I almost went deaf, and a little boy was taken to the hospital. No need to look far for examples; this year adults behaved much worse than the kid from my school. In Berlin Afghan and Syrian migrants together with representatives from other countries staged firework shootouts, attacked cars and the police officers, firefighters and even the emergency medical services themselves. Naturally, at the top they again talked about tightening the rules for using fireworks. But in reality everyone understands that the problem here isn’t the firecrackers and the flames. And what do you think about the availability of pyrotechnics? #holidays #Ordnung
