I'm a simple emigrant and I planted flowers
Many people moving to another country feel themselves in a state of limbo for a long time. Everything seems temporary — housing, work, even the people around you. The desire to stay mobile clashes with the desire to get a pet or a bunch of plants. In my case the reasons are more about endless trips or moves within Germany, but I decided that I wouldn't wait any longer and it's time to start something. I bought a palm tree. At first it felt cramped; I repotted it. The palm looked even worse, I repotted it again, and it seemed to get a little better. Then I decided that now I am a gardener and it's time to acquire more plants as well. Recently I planted flowers, greens and small tomatoes on the balcony. I actually wanted strawberries, but couldn't find them, had to take what was available. The tomatoes will grow on the balcony, right? Almost everything I bought at Toom. For my needs it's enough, but for grand purchases it's easier to search on Google for Garden Center (garden center), and then look at reviews and how close it is to you. Simple flowers or seeds in season can be found in almost any big supermarket. And mint or basil in a pot — year-round. Honestly, so far I haven't noticed any particular talent for gardening in myself, and it's a pity; I wish I could wave a wand and have a whole greenhouse grow! By the way, in Germany people say that they have a green thumb or green thumbs. Surely among the subscribers there are many with green fingers. Show off, don't be shy! And do you grow anything? I'm very interested to see what grows for you 🥰 #useful #emigrant_happiness
