In Germany, from the end of February to the beginning of March, the Weiberfastnacht festival takes place. It heralds a big, strict fast. At the parade, various companies and groups on beautiful floats toss candy and various knick-knacks and simply shout 'Hallo, hallo' to everyone. And kids and beggars crawl on the floor and collect these provisions in their big bags. #frankfurt #holidays
