Post: I went to the Black Forest

I'm a simple emigrant and I went to the Black Forest

Surely, you have already heard about how truly scary German fairy tales are in their originals. Well, in many of them the action takes place right in the Black Forest. The name itself translates as The Black Forest. In general, this is a large region with dense forests and hills in the south of Germany. For example, Baden-Baden, the most popular local resort, is also located in the Black Forest. Recommendations: it's better to go for a long weekend; on a full vacation there isn't much to do there. I stayed in Griesbach, at the Schauinsland hotel – I liked the price/quality ratio. And one more life hack: since this is a resort area, every arriving guest must pay a resort tax of about 2 euros per person per day. So when you pay this tax, you receive a Konus+ card, which you can use as an unlimited travel pass across the whole region, and it also gives a ton of various discounts.
