I'm a simple emigrant and I'll tell a little more about German service

Do you remember my internet saga? Well, the next day, on Monday, it didn’t appear, and on Tuesday as well. It only appeared on Wednesday, that is, the German internet provider took a full week to fix such a fault. So those who voted against, you won. But that’s not the end of it. In the building where I live, we pay decent money for housing that is quite small in size, but the amount seems fair when you count it all in the “perks.” For example, in Germany it’s common to rent out completely empty apartments, often even without a kitchen; also the electricity bill is never included in the rent, as is the internet. The latter is usually arranged by each tenant themselves, signing a contract in their own name. With us, though, all of this is included from the start in the rent: furniture, electricity, water, internet. Of course, everyone started to complain, since everyone was working or studying from home. And then, when we had already forgotten about it, I happened to learn that my friend received a letter offering compensation. And I didn’t receive one. I wrote about it in our group, and it turned out that almost no one received one. In general, to save money, the company quietly refunded 16 euros (the amount, they say, that a month of internet per room costs) only to those who wrote an email, and with my friend apparently it was just a glitch, since he hadn’t written to anyone. It would seem logical to reimburse the loss to all residents on the list. But no—the savings for merchants come first, and for some reason they ignored reviews about the poor service. What do you think of such a situation? #money
