I'm a simple emigrant and I'm celebrating the New Year in Russia

Probably, 2021 wasn't the easiest year: you can't find any New Year's mood around. Everyone is wrapping up tasks and work, they don't have time to buy gifts and alcohol for the holidays. In Tyumen, nine-out-of-ten traffic jams have been going on for days now, because the townspeople are rushing somewhere. The New Year's hustle in Russia, in general, is more pleasant than in Singapore, where people worry little about the holiday. And Christmas trees stand beautifully in everyone's homes! For residents of Tyumen Oblast, by the way, a gift was given: bans on restaurants and bars to operate until 11 p.m. were lifted and it became allowed to go without QR codes in most public places. All because here more than 80% of residents have been vaccinated—almost like in Singapore. I don't know if this 'reward' will lift the mood of locals, but it will surely help business. There remains in the next two days to sum up 2021 and plan, as much as possible, for 2022. I wish everyone that it will be tens of times better than the two previous ones! Season's greetings 🎄
