I'm a simple emigrant, and in a new place I try to make friends as quickly as possible

When you come to study on an exchange program or some kind of summer school, it's all very simple. You immediately end up among the same kind of students; you don't even have to go out of your way to find friends. Relocating for work is more complicated. No, my colleagues are wonderful, but as is typical in IT, they're mostly guys, and on top of that, married. So just inviting them to dance on Saturday is out of the question. I discussed it with Masha, and it was decided that I would go to a club by myself. And what? Sitting in my own apartment, I'm sure I won't find a new circle of friends. And here I am dancing in a club, and I realize that the ones who want to meet are all guys, while I need a girlfriend to go shopping and to museums.
