I'm a simple emigrant and someday I'll write a book
I even have an idea that wouldn’t leave me alone until I wrote something / something. This can’t be called a full-fledged book, of course. Another idea is spinning in my head right now. Apparently it will also not leave me alone until I write it! And guess what, the other day the folks from the literary workshop “Strange People” wrote to me, invited me to a co-writing session, where everyone writes on some topic together. Practically a sign from the universe! Unfortunately, I’m completely swamped right now, but I’m not a dog in the manger. I’m bringing this to you, I know we have the most talented and thoughtful subscribers here. The co-writing session is free and will take place on September 16 at 19:00, online. The topic is “Thing, Body, Smell.” They promise an introduction to each topic and assignments that will help you write a text, even if you don’t write much. The session is led by Evgeny Babushkin, guests — Margo Gritt (things), Agata Doroničeva (smells), Nadya Hedvig (embodiment). I, of course, checked out their channel, browsed around; the atmosphere is really intimate. You can do anything except hate: no censorship, write without holding back, as you think–feel what hurts right now. In any case, it’s definitely worth trying! The co-writing is free, but you need registration. Check it out! P.S.: I’d be happy to read your texts if you’d like that. P.P.S.: if you write a book there, and it gets a Nobel Prize, I want 100 euros! #immigrants_are_friends
