I'm a simple emigrant and Christmas this year stole a virus
The government of the state of Hesse, where Frankfurt is located, has given all residents a gift: another total lockdown. You can't gather together; all common areas in my house are closed, door handles have been removed, and holes sealed with tape; you are not allowed to go outside after nine in the evening. All Christmas markets, of course, have been canceled. At least they put up the main Christmas tree; it was magnificent, and photos of it spread in five minutes—check them out as well. This merry time will last at least until January 10, so there’s no hope for the New Year either. Apparently, this year all holidays will take place in the format of solitary movie-watching or small gatherings with neighbors. Personally, I still don't know what I'll do, but I bought a small table from Ikea just in case. Happy holidays to everyone! #frankfurt #Ordnung #holidays
