I'm a simple emigrant and I'm already tired of strange restrictions
When the pandemic was just beginning, everyone looked toward Europe, especially Germany, and envied how people here are cared for. But now it feels like I'm living in a theater of the absurd. I can't remember since when we introduced strict measures: everything was closed except for grocery and household stores. And now, as of March 8, the restrictions have been partially lifted, but there's not much to rejoice about. Now we're allowed to go to the gym by appointment, in clothing stores and other goods shops you can also visit by appointment, and the government has kindly allowed restaurants to open outdoor terraces. Thanks, it's just that in Frankfurt it's cold and the rain pours nonstop. In good news, coronavirus tests have been made free again. Probably that's all. People here are starting to go crazy, many businesses had to cut back or close completely. The joy that we are living through a pandemic in a first-world country has almost completely faded, and now I just want to understand why the government is introducing such measures, and when all this will end. #Ordnung
