I'm a simple emigrant and found the best way to travel under the current conditions

My friend and I set off to conquer Italy in a camper van. It's a van that my friends converted themselves, and now it has a sleeping area, a washbasin, and even a place to cook. We left Munich, through Austria, toward Italy with absolutely no itinerary. But it was clear that we didn't want to drive 11 hours, so we had to choose from northern Italian cities. Fortunately, roads in Europe are excellent, so we reached fairly quickly and without difficulties. By the way, to drive a van in Germany you don't need an additional license category, but we went further and drove without licenses at all. Because mine can't be used in Europe anymore, and my friend lost her card seven years ago. But foolhardiness and courage are our motto. Our route turned out to be this: Lake Garda — the towns of Limone and Sirmione — Verona — Venice — Merano — Tyrol. We took the car fully fueled and returned it the same way; in total we spent only €108 on fuel, and you could include accommodation here as well, since we slept inside. A useful tip for the future, when we can travel again, is to refuel best in Austria, because there they have a special tax system, and the most expensive fuel will be in Italy. For example, diesel prices in Austria are €0.91, in Germany €1, and in Italy €1.26. Free parking, including overnight, we found in the Park4Night and Stellplatz-Radar apps. Very convenient: there are marks about the possibility of parking large vehicles, about the presence of toilets and trash bins, and reviews and ratings help you learn real and up-to-date information. Another app that helped us a lot — Splitwise — where we kept track of all expenses; a very handy thing for group travels, so you don't have to keep in your head who paid when and how much and who owes whom. This was my first trip to Italy; I'll tell you more about it later. Have you ever been to this country? #World_trips
