I'm a simple emigrant, but here's how entertaining mathematics sounds in German
Somehow wrote about physics for German children. So this time the situation turned out similar. At the same kind of event recently there were beer kegs and a beer tap again. I either offered to help out of goodwill, or the game beat me, I can't remember. But, in general, my task was to bring four glasses of beer. I don't really drink beer myself, so I forgot that it's not that fast. For those who don't know: under such pressure and with the simple mechanism from the tap, only foam flows, even if you tilt the glass carefully. You may think that I just don't know how to pour, but no, even if you dance with a tambourine — in the end you'll still have to pour foam, wait for it to settle, pour a new portion, wait again, and so on in circles. But there's also a positive side: by the time the glass fills, you are already sober, and ready for new heights. And so I filled all the glasses; by feel, it seemed to take a hundred years, and I returned to the guys. I said I almost turned pale while this all was filling. And my friend said, didn't you know that „A good Pils takes 7 minutes.“ or «A good beer needs 7 minutes». Of course, I didn't know, otherwise I wouldn't have gone with four glasses at once! But this situation gave me an idea for a fun German math puzzle. If one beer is poured in 3 iterations in 7 minutes, how long would it take to fill four full glasses of 200 ml? And there's even a star question for a bonus point: after how long will Lucy's patience run out standing by the tap? For now you solve the puzzle, and I'll keep my eyes open; who knows, we might collect all school subjects! #curiosities
