I'm a simple emigrant and I continue to introduce you to German films

Watched a few great German films and picked the top 3 that I liked the most. The order is random. If you’re not planning to learn German – no problem, all three films are available in Russian as well, so go ahead! 🎬 TRAUMFRAUEN (2015) – a light and funny comedy about three friends whose personal lives get complicated. But they don’t get sad; they take matters into their own hands and set off in search of new adventures. The film does an excellent job conveying the German dating life with all its quirks, funny situations, and unexpected twists. 🎬 WUNDERSCHÖN (2022) – a film about how beauty standards pressure women. Several protagonists, each with her own story, try to figure out how to love themselves and live the way they want, not the way it's “right.” Very relatable. I laughed, I cried — and basically spent half the film with a lump in my throat 😅. 🎬 SPIELEABEND (2024) – a classic film about how an ordinary evening of board games suddenly turns into chaos of revelations, intrigue, and unexpected twists. Plenty of funny and unpredictable events, and there’s a parrot too. A light, atmospheric comedy about friendship, honesty, and how games can reveal people in unexpected ways.
