I'm a simple emigrant and I don't really follow German politics
Mostly all my energy goes to the wonderful news coming from Russia one after another. But this time it’s a different matter. Germany, after 16 years, has a government reshuffle: Angela Merkel handed over the post of chancellor to Olaf Scholz. The post lasts four years, but for some reason people do not predict Olaf Scholz’s equally long tenure in office; they say he lacks charisma. More than half of the German population who participated in the vote believe that, at best, this term will be Olaf Scholz’s first and last as the former Minister of Labor. In general, charisma interests me rather moderately, but the ruling party coalition spoke about the main change that personally concerns me—the possibility to keep Russian citizenship when applying for German citizenship. Now it remains only to wait and see whether this was populist rhetoric to attract votes or a real plan for the future. And do you follow politics where you live? #Ordnung #useful
