I'm a simple emigrant, and I don't really pay attention to healthy eating

Mainly because it's quite difficult, labor-intensive, and expensive. But local authorities came up with a solution for people like me as well. Therefore I am a fan of the product labeling system that was introduced in Germany in 2020: brands now voluntarily place a nutritional rating on the labels or Nutri-Score. Nutri-Score is a color and letter scale for assessing products by the degree of their nutritional value. Essentially, experts calculate the amount of useless calories and the amount of useful calories that offset them. The letter A on a green background marks products that are best suited for healthy eating. According to surveyed residents of Germany, Nutri-Score turned out to be the most convenient and understandable system for promoting healthy eating, and from my own example I can say that it works. Of course, this rating didn't make me give up some unhealthy food, but when choosing a product in a specific category, I now always prefer products with the letter A on the packaging. And what do you think about such a system? #useful
