I'm a simple emigrant and I know the most important numbers of Germany
Memorize the first two numbers by heart, and save the rest for emergencies. All numbers are free, accessible with zero balance, and you can remain anonymous with all of them. 112 – firefighters, rescuers, and emergency medical help. This emergency services number works from any phone, even if it is blocked or without a SIM card. 110 – police. 116 117 – on-call medical help, if life is not in danger but you don’t know what to do, where to go, or the problem occurred outside working hours. 116 116 – unified line for blocking bank cards, identifications, electronic signatures, etc. 0800 688 80 00 – a separate special number for witnesses of crimes, for passing information or evidence. 116 123 or 0800 111 0 111 or 0800 111 0 222 – psychological help in any crisis situations. 116 016 – service for women who have suffered from violence, available in 18 languages. 0800 111 0 333 – helpline for children and teenagers. 0800 111 0 50 – helpline for parents. 0800 404 00 20 – helpline for pregnant women. If there is a risk that any of these numbers might be needed, it's better to save it in your phone right away so that in case of an emergency you won't have to waste time searching. If you want to add a number to this list – write in the comments, I will add it to the post, but let's hope that we never need them. #useful
