Post: I like that, while in Frankfurt, you can go on weekend trips all over Europe

I'm a simple emigrant, and I like that, while in Frankfurt, you can go on weekend trips all over Europe

It turned out that my beloved Yugra Headquarters invited me to work as a correspondent in Berlin on weekends. As many people know, I agree to such offers in about two minutes. And then I start thinking about what I need for it and, for example, looking at tickets. It turned out that on a regular train (not the ones that are super-fast) you can reach without transfers a little over four hours and only 40€ for a round trip. The departure wasn't from the main station, which I found out about an hour beforehand. I followed the GPS, got there, and it was an ordinary subway station, no huge building with a bunch of displays, information desks, special stations, annoying announcements over the loudspeaker, and even inspectors. Fortunately the navigation in Frankfurt is excellent, and I found my platform without trouble. The train arrived three minutes before the scheduled time, everyone just gets on, no one checks a passport or ticket (it will be scanned later by a QR code from the phone). My cheap ticket allowed “no fixed seat,” meaning you can sit anywhere, but if you need to transfer, and if everything is full you’ll have to stand in the vestibule. I had to transfer once, not scary. Inside the temperature is comfortable and there are nice leather seats, each with its own outlet and a table. There was no Internet, unfortunately, but almost along the whole way the mobile signal was excellent. Approximately every couple of hours a pleasant guy would come by with drinks, chocolates and snacks, but I'm a simple emigrant — water and tangerines are my ration. That’s how I reached the capital, and the trip was brightened by music, work and a book. #German_trips #work
