In Germany, a huge number of concerts take place every year, as well as festivals, parties, exhibitions, and so on. Not all of them stop by Frankfurt specifically, but the question of traveling between cities here hardly ever arises — it’s very simple and often inexpensive. The big problem is managing to buy tickets, because here people are used to planning everything in advance and, accordingly, buying tickets. Therefore I almost immediately asked myself the question of where to monitor all this in general. Asking friends, colleagues, and simply studying the internet yielded results. Now I have subscribed to two sites and consistently receive news about upcoming events from there. The main sources of news: www.eventim.de and www.ticketmaster.de — here you can find everything: theatrical performances, opera, ballet, stand-up, sports events, concerts. And as for parties, I’ll have to disappoint all those who do not like and do not understand Facebook. The main news about upcoming gatherings, special guests, and DJs in clubs, jazz concerts in bars, and so on, come from there, so if you want to move and know about such events, you’ll have to learn to use this social network. #useful
