I'm a simple emigrant and I love festivals

Especially if it's related to wine. Therefore we could not miss the start of the Bornheim Young Wine Festival, which will be held in Frankfurt until May 4. More than fifteen wineries are setting up their corners with different drinks on a street that is considered the city’s longest shopping street. Of course, there are also food stalls here, and a small stage where local artists and groups perform. The average price of a 0.2 L glass is about 5.5 euros. For a bottle — around 20 euros. It's pricey, but comparable to prices in good restaurants or establishments that specialize in wine. Here they do not use plastic tableware; everything is poured into the same branded glasses, for each of which you pay a 2.5 euro deposit. If you do not break it and return it, the deposit is refunded accordingly. When we arrived, the concert was playing its last songs, but at the beginning near the stage there weren't particularly many people. In Germany, at such events it's more common to crowd in the middle of the action, drink, eat, and talk loudly. A great way to spend time with friends, especially if the weather is good. And we headed off to continue our party around 11 o'clock, but it was still going on and the crowd hadn't diminished. #frankfurt #holidays
