I'm a simple emigrant and I love to travel on a budget
We talked about it with a friend, feeling sad that with constantly increasing conditions and rising prices, travel is getting harder and harder. I dreamed that it would be great if insurance would provide a two-week paid trip once a year. And a friend told me that in some states of Germany you can do roughly the same thing, just under the pretext of study. We have this available to us as well. The gist is that if you meet not-too-stringent conditions, you can request educational leave not only for a university term, but for anything: yoga courses on the ocean shore, personal development trainings at mountain resorts, or language courses in Spain. Each year for this purpose you can take up to five days, and the site says they can even be accumulated. So, submit your application now and get 10 days for the next year! And the best part is that since this is educational leave, you can request partial reimbursement from the insurer (it won't be big, but better than nothing), and all expenses for such leave are included in your tax return at the end of the year to obtain a deduction. It’s just wonderful; this is something we should definitely look into. And in some states of Germany you can also get separate bonuses or government grants to finance such a bright aspiration—to develop yourself 🌚 On this platform there are even more details and ready tours with educational programs.
