I'm a simple emigrant and I love water activities
In Frankfurt, of course, there is no sea or ocean, but there is a river. Along the Main, ships full of people who are drinking and singing constantly cruise by. Here people also learn to operate motorboats, and those who already know how to do it also organize all kinds of excursions. So the center of the river is always busy with them, while along the banks paddleboard excursions are held. It’s a big board, like a beginner’s surfboard, and a long paddle. And you stand on it first on your knees, and if your coordination is all right, you try to stand up. Drowning on such an excursion is almost impossible, but it’s easy to injure yourself on rocks or broken glass on the bottom. Therefore it’s better to stay on the surface. The whole trip lasts about an hour and a half: from the starting point to the skyscrapers with a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening and simply a beautiful view during the day. This pleasure costs 50 euros, which is quite expensive, in my opinion. With student discounts I spent 10 euros — a reasonable price. Overall I enjoyed it, but one time was enough, and by the way I came out of the water dry. And how many times would you fall? #frankfurt
