I'm a simple emigrant and I love water activities
In Frankfurt, of course, there is no sea or ocean, but there is a river. On the Main, ships full of people who drink and sing constantly cruise by. Here people also learn to operate motorboats, and those who already know how to do it also organize all sorts of outings. Therefore the center of the river is always busy with them, while along the banks on the edges stand-up paddleboard excursions are held. It’s such a big board, like for beginner surfers, and a long paddle. And you stand on it first on your knees, and, if your coordination is all right, then you try to stand up. Drowning on such an excursion is practically impossible, but getting hurt on stones or broken glass at the bottom is easy. Therefore it’s advisable to stay on the surface after all. The whole trip takes about an hour and a half: from the starting point to the skyscrapers with a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening and simply a beautiful view during the day. It costs this pleasure 50 euros, which is quite expensive, in my opinion. With student discounts I spent 10 euros — a reasonable price. Overall I liked it, but one time was enough and, by the way, I came out dry from the water. And how many times would you fall? #frankfurt
