I'm a simple emigrant and I marvel at the inventiveness of the local authorities
Our time has come for new restrictions because of the coronavirus. About a month ago the government came up with rules to publish once, and in order not to bother with daily revising these rules they said: “Comrades, you’ll just have to figure out yourselves how many cases there are.” If there are many, say above 100 per day, then we close all shops except grocery stores and household chemicals and stay at home. If fewer — we open shopping centers, stores, beauty salons, gyms, and so on. But don’t rush to sprint to Zara, you won’t be allowed in without a test. First you need to take a quick test, free of charge — we’ll look fancy! Finally, with a negative corona test, done no earlier than 24 hours ago, you can go shopping, but don’t forget that in each store you have a slot of about 45-60 minutes, after which you must leave (so other people can also go shopping). I won’t say anything about filling out all sorts of forms and “booking” entry into the store, it’s become routine. And also pay attention to the time: at 22:00 a curfew begins — the city falls asleep, taxi drivers get nervous. It looks funny: you can go to a clothing store, spend 20 minutes talking to the salesperson, but you can’t go inside — first a test. If you’re not sure in the morning whether stores and gyms are open, you can look at the street and by the number of people understand what’s going on. Just like they used to determine the weather. I’m already tired of sitting in this prison of absurdity and I went on a short vacation, but more about that next time. And did you like our conditions? #frankfurt #Ordnung
