I'm a simple emigrant and I submitted the originals for citizenship

I went out of the house on Monday at 7:18 a.m., the last time I went out like that was either to kindergarten or to a low-cost flight. I stepped out; there was fog on the street, I could see exactly one meter in front of me. The realization that my mission was magnificent didn’t help. So I sympathize with everyone who has to go out like this every day. I arrived, sat down, they invited me even a little earlier than the scheduled appointment. First they checked the accuracy of the personal data from the questionnaire, and then they asked a few questions. The female adviser asked what democracy is? I explained, then she asked: “Are all people equal before the law?” I said yes. She didn’t stop: “And men and women are also equal before the law?” I really wanted to say “Yes, but men are more equal” or “And whom did you exclude from the set of people from the previous question.” But I restrained myself in time, decided that there, just like at the airport, it’s better to answer normally, and save the jokes for the channel. They also asked what extremism is and why Jews in modern Germany have such an attitude. I told the whole story, but she was less interested; with an additional question, I understood that she expected the specific word “Holocaust.” As soon as I pronounced it, she said: “Well, great, sign here and here.” Then I again, more for the record, asked whether they would manage to review my documents before my current card expires. The sweet adviser said: “we can’t promise you anything about timing, but here — definitely not.” I said, thank you, no more questions. Now in about a week there should be a confirmation from Darmstadt, and after that it’s just waiting. The previous episode of this series here. How are you, what’s new? #useful #Ordnung
