I'm a simple emigrant and I'll tell you what's on German TV

Recently we had guests who definitely wanted to watch a football match, and for that they brought a TV cable with them to connect to our TV. The guests left, the cable stayed, and for a few days I turned on and watched what was on the regular TV schedule. Strangely, during that time I felt some old, good, forgotten feeling of home, which I used to feel, including cartoons after school on a frosty day. But let's not dwell on the sad stuff; I’d rather introduce you to some comedic shows so you can once again appreciate the German sense of humor. 📺 Heute-Show – a satirical news show. Oliver Welke, in a parody format, discusses political and social topics of the week. With humor he talks about the actions of current politicians, experts and social phenomena. 📺 Knallerfrauen – a sketch show with Martina Hill, consisting of short, dynamic and often absurd numbers. A lot of physical humor, caricatures of various everyday situations, simple and short dialogues. 📺 ZDF Magazin Royale – a late-evening satirical show with Jan Böhmermann. There he wittily criticizes the media, politics, and internet culture. And the show also features original musical numbers and guest appearances. 📺 Nuhr im Ersten – another named satirical program by Dieter Nuhr. Mostly, it’s stand-up monologues and discussions of topical politics and society in an ironic tone. 📺 Die Carolin Kebekus Show – and another comedy show, now a female one. Sharp humor from Carolin on current events, social and political topics, invited guests and topics, often related to feminism and society. 📺 Mitternachtsspitzen – a satirical cabaret show with Günter Lamprecht, which is older than me! Here satirists and comedians perform who discuss the main news, naturally often with sharp social humor. 📺 Till Reiners’ Happy Hour – a modern stand-up format: host Till Reiners invites various comedians and artists for live performances, dialogues, exchange of experiences and improvisations. And here there are often old good sketches about daily life and absurd situations. You can find the schedule for these and other programs, for example, here: tvinfo.de, tvspielfilm.de and fernsehserien.de. Take at least a quick peek, as they say, at what it's paying for. 😅 #madeinGermany
