Post: I'll tell you what's on German TV

I'm a simple emigrant and I'll tell you what's on German TV

Recently guests came to us who definitely wanted to watch a football match and, for that reason, they brought a TV cable with them to connect to our television. The guests left, the cable remained, and I for several days would turn on and watch what was on the regular TV schedule. Surprisingly, during this time I caught some old, good, forgotten feeling of home that I used to feel, including cartoons after school on a frosty day. But let's not dwell on the sad stuff; better I'll introduce you to some comedic shows so you can once again appreciate German humor. 📺 Heute-Show – a satirical news show. Oliver Welke discusses the political and social topics of the week in a parody format. With humor, he comments on the actions of current politicians, experts, and social phenomena. 📺 Knallerfrauen – a sketch show with Martina Hill, consisting of short, fast-paced, and often absurd segments. Lots of physical humor, caricatures of various everyday situations, simple and short dialogues. 📺 ZDF Magazin Royale – a late-evening satirical show with Jan Böhmermann. There he wittily criticizes the media, politics, and internet culture. Also, the show features original musical numbers and invited guests. 📺 Nuhr im Ersten – another named satirical program by Dieter Nuhr. Mostly, it's stand-up monologues and discussions of current politics and society in an ironic vein. 📺 Die Carolin Kebekus Show – another comedy show, now female-led. Sharp humor from Carolin about current events, social and political topics, invited guests and topics, often related to feminism and society. 📺 Mitternachtsspitzen – a satirical cabaret show with Günther Lamprecht, which is older than I am! Here, satirists and comedians perform, discussing the main news, naturally often with sharp social humor. 📺 – a modern stand-up format: host Till Reiners invites various comedians and artists for live performances, dialogues, exchange of experiences and improvisations. And here there are often good old sketches about everyday life and absurd situations. You can check the schedules of these and other programs, for example, here: tvinfo.de, tvspielfilm.de, and fernsehserien.de. Take a quick look at what you’re paying for, as they say. 😅 #madeinGermany
