I'm a simple emigrant and I'm amazed by the inventiveness of the local authorities

We are entering a period of new restrictions because of the coronavirus. About a month ago the government came up with rules to be issued all at once, and in order not to deal with daily revisions of these rules they said: "Comrades, you’ll have to figure out for yourselves how many cases there are." If there are many, roughly above 100 per day, then all shops except grocery stores and household chemicals close and we stay at home. If fewer — we open shopping centers, stores, beauty salons, gyms, and so on. But don’t rush to sprint into Zara; you won’t be let in without a test. You first need to take a rapid test, free of charge—fancy that! Finally, with a negative corona test, taken no earlier than 24 hours ago, you can go shopping, but remember that in each store you have a slot of about 45–60 minutes, then you must leave (so that other people can also go shopping). About filling out all sorts of forms and the "booking" of entry into the store I won’t say anything more — it’s become routine. And also pay attention to the time: at 22:00 the curfew begins—the city falls asleep, taxi drivers become nervous. It looks funny; you can come to a clothing store, spend 20 minutes talking with the salesperson, but you can’t go inside — first a test. If you’re not sure in the morning whether stores and gyms are open, you can look outside and by the number of people understand what’s going on. Just like the weather used to be determined. I’m already tired of sitting in this prison of absurdity and I’ve gone on a short vacation, but about that next time. And did you like our conditions? #frankfurt #Ordnung
