I'm a simple emigrant and I'm just starting my working year

Generally, the working year in Germany starts on January 2, and I also went to work on that day, while Russian friends were just waking up from celebrating the New Year. But this year I finally gave myself New Year’s holidays, just like before, a full two weeks. Although this channel isn’t my “work,” it just happened that I’m publishing the first post of this year only now. And I want to tell you a couple of updates right away. First, as you may have noticed, the channel is getting more and more German, posts about Singapore will most likely no longer appear. We, the authors, are all fine, it’s just that inspiration has faded. Second, I’ve long wanted to introduce a “Guest Column,” but I wanted to prepare all the posts first and then publish them. Now I’ve changed my mind and decided to make it more of an open mic. If you’re in Germany and/or you have stories related to Germany or the German language, write to me; we’ll format them together and share them with the world. But don’t worry — I’ll publish at most one such post per month, and if there isn’t an interesting story, that’s fine too; I won’t go out of my way to find someone. Also, I intentionally don’t have navigation on the channel, because we didn’t sell anything and you just read everything in order. There are plenty of useful posts as well, and many of them have remained relevant, so I simply recommend using the search and enjoying our early posts.
