I'm a simple emigrant and I've already returned to Germany

Over two and a half weeks in Russia I needed a test or a vaccination certificate only once: right after arrival. The rest of the time in Moscow, Tyumen, and St. Petersburg no one ever asked me for any proof that I wasn’t sick; at best they checked my temperature at the entrance. During that time I was at a concert, in bars, and at tourist spots. And just before the lockdown, I was due to fly home. It went perfectly! The next test had to be done already to board the plane. And here I again warmly remembered how often people in Russia actually care about you, and how rarely that happens in Germany. I ran to the clinic in the evening, they promised results by 12 a.m. the next day. But it was late, and my plane departed at 12:10, and they weren’t sure that everything would be ready on time. The specialist started contacting the laboratory directly, with her superiors, worrying about me as she would about herself. In the end they marked my test as urgent, and the director gave his personal number, if I ever needed a printed copy, I could go to his friend who works at the airport. The result arrived at 9 a.m., no additional actions were required, and I used the number to write to the director “thank you.” After arriving in Germany you need to serve a 10-day quarantine. You can come out earlier if you take another test on the fifth day after arrival. But during my absence, even “rapid” tests became paid and now cost on average €25 (~ 2100 rubles). Since I don’t need to go to an office, and I don’t go anywhere much, I decided I would happily stay at home. And in your countries, what’s the situation with the coronavirus? #russia
