I'm a simple emigrant, but not when it comes to matters relating to food
My friends from America to Japan and from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin know what a picky eater I am when it comes to food. Therefore it was very hard for me in Asia. How glad I am that in Europe it's much easier. In Frankfurt you can find a cafe or restaurant for any taste. Mexican, Asian, European, Balkan, Eastern β please! Just step out of the office, go in any direction, and you'll arrive at a place where you can eat deliciously and pay 5-10 β¬. My colleagues and I do just that, and I don't choose the place, because I know: I will find something to eat anywhere. And if suddenly dishes from the main menu don't grab me, I tell at the cash register what I would like, a list of ingredients, so to speak. And you know, they've never refused me! And the local cuisine is schnitzel (steak) and spaetzle (like noodles but made by pressing dough through a grater). Apparently, that's the favorite sound combination. Well, and all kinds of sausages, of course. #food
