I'm a simple emigrant, but sometimes you have to deal with complex topics

When it comes to taxes in Russia, people start boiling with anger because they don’t see the results of these deductions. Let’s look at taxes in Germany. Of course, that’s a broad topic, but here are a few points. First, these deductions are made by the employer; nobody goes around and files any declarations themselves. On average, if you have no family and children, you’ll pay about 40%. The difference is that here, when you’re invited to work, they quote you a salary that includes tax, then you work it out yourself and understand roughly how much you’ll have on hand. In addition to the classic taxes (income, pension, healthcare), there are also interesting ones. For example, the solidarity tax for East Germany. It appeared after the fall of the Berlin Wall to reduce socio-economic differences between regions. And also, to prevent television from sliding into the propaganda weapon of the ruling regime, everyone pays here a television tax, and it doesn’t matter whether you have a TV or not. And if, at registration, you say you belong to some religion, then the church tax won’t be long in coming. And I'm a simple emigrant, already finding out what you need to do to get back a part of it :) #Ordnung #taxes #money
