I'm a simple emigrant and spontaneous
There's not much you can say about the typical resident of Germany. Even Germans themselves admit that dropping everything spontaneously to dive into any kind of activity isn't for them. Every time I talk to local friends, when asked about plans for the week they have a clear, scheduled answer; I, meanwhile, only have major or important events. Everything else: we'll figure it out as we go. This is especially noticeable with those who are locals in Frankfurt, because they have many friends and acquaintances, each of whom surely fills their calendar in advance. In the end, you can be as easygoing as you like, but you end up in this chain of people who plan everything for a hundred years ahead. Strikingly, the coronavirus didn't really improve the situation, and perhaps even made it worse, since people generally wanted less contact. And which type of people would you consider yourself? #frankfurt
