I'm a simple emigrant, and today is Labor Day

In Germany, May Day is a national holiday and a nationwide day off. Its essence is the same as in Russia: labor, peace, May. Usually in Frankfurt on this day demonstrations and parades organized by workers' unions take place, where workers express their position, paint huge banners and may even perform a small performance. And in Berlin, in the liberal Kreuzberg district, Labor Day turns into a big street Hippie party, there are plenty of photos on the Internet. Unfortunately, national holidays in Germany are not moved to weekdays if they fall on weekends.
