I'm a simple emigrant and I got stuck in the airport

While I was writing about Oktoberfest, I remembered that once I too found myself locked inside Frankfurt airport. I was returning from Tyumen again. The journey was complicated by COVID measures and additional layovers, but, to my surprise, everything went simply wonderful, except the delay of the first flight by 40 minutes. That’s not how it usually goes, but you understand that things don’t go this smoothly. I stepped off the plane in Frankfurt and went to passport control. The line in front of me was quite short. I was already mentally lying on the couch at home and eating something. But that wasn’t the case. Suddenly a panic breaks out. A female officer rushes in, shouting to all the officers where to go; they quickly close ALL the windows, blinds, and run away. We stand there, clueless about what’s happening. We see that gradually everything is being closed off everywhere. By hearsay it’s said that the subway station was closed as well; no one is being allowed out of or into the building. No official information is given to us. But the crowd has plenty of theories: either the woman tried to run through the checkpoint, or terrorists with a bomb got through, or there’s a firefight even more intense than the Wild West. Moreover, for each version someone in the crowd backs it, as if they were shot nine times but dodged! In short, the theories sound more convincing than the last, but that doesn’t please us. We stood like that for almost four hours, until, again, without any comment, they reopened everything and let us through passport control in the usual order. Then at home I started watching the news. It turned out that three “alleged terrorists” left a bag with shouts about Allah and ran. Naturally, such jokes are bad at an airport, and all this time the police first carefully ensured there was no explosive in the bag, and then looked for the people themselves. In the end, the special forces found and questioned two, and one more was still being searched for, while it wasn’t entirely clear whether there was a third at all.
