I'm a simple emigrant and I'm already preparing a speech for the Oscar
I've long wanted to try my hand at big cinema, and finally an excellent opportunity has come along. The German channel ARD is filming a new series for its streaming service and is looking for more than 600 background actors. Applications are still open; you can apply here: https://ahab.casting-eick.de/. The application form is very simple; I filled it out in about five minutes. The hardest part is that you need to know your availability and indicate certain dates when you could shoot, and that you must attach two of your photos. I searched among my wonderful photos, but decided that they all have too much background, so I ended up taking new ones exactly in the format they request: one close-up and one full-length. Filming has already started and will run until mid-October. The agency says they are looking for absolutely everyone: they need people of all nationalities and genders from 18 to 80 years old. The site notes that some people may get several shooting days, and some may even land small episodic roles. Filming takes place in Cologne; travel, accommodation, parking and other expenses are not covered by the agency. But they pay a salary of 129 euros, before taxes, of course. Choose where we'll fly for this money: where we'll fly! Have you ever acted in a movie in any role? The series All Heroes Are Bastards unfolds in a grim dystopian Germany, where an increasingly authoritarian government ruthlessly crushes 'threats'. At the heart of the story are several people who gain supernatural abilities after contact with a mysterious artifact. What begins as a personal quest for meaning quickly turns into a fight against a system that destroys families and oppresses minorities. The main characters unite to oppose the all-powerful structure, reveal the truth and bring about changes in society.
