I'm a simple emigrant, and I'm starting to take a liking to the local 'festivals'

In Frankfurt, yet another festival of nothing took place. Bahnhofsviertelnacht — literally, the night of the Hauptbahnhof district. This gathering is considered one of the main events of the year in principle; even the city mayor comes here every year and takes photos with anyone who wants to. In general, the idea is that in the Bahnhofsviertel live representatives of the most diverse "social" groups. And on this night of the main station they all meet in a neighborly way, so to speak. It seemed to me that the whole city was in one place, as usual; everyone was drinking, eating, rejoicing and dancing a little. Mostly, of course, they were drinking. We went there with almost the whole group, and the next day the whole group also cheerfully went to work. Because this is Germany, a festival on Thursday is the norm. And it’s also normal to have wine festivals every week, or just some street celebration. If you forgot what it looks like here, I remind you: all people form a big crowd, stand, drink and talk loudly. And you know, there is something to it. Maybe in another six months, I’ll also think that this is the best way to spend time, and for now I’m just getting into it. And you, would you like such a party? #holidays #frankfurt
