I'm a simple emigrant and in anticipation of festivals

The season of outdoor summer festivals is almost here! Today the weather is not great, but that's only so you won't feel bad about working, and after that comes celebration, sun, and heat. And to make it easier for you to figure out where to wear your summer dresses and shorts, I’ve put together a selection of June festivals in Frankfurt! Latin American Weekend, May 29 – June 1, Bockenheimer Warte Latin America is my personal love. DJs, live music, folkloric shows and dances – all waiting for you at Bockenheimer Warte Square. For foodies and shoppers, there will also be food trucks and a market there. Berger Street Festival, May 31 – June 1, Berger Street Festival on a gastronomic street: several stages with live music, and as usual many stalls with international cuisine and drinks. Wäldchestag, June 6 – 10, Frankfurter Stadtwald Various restaurants, summer gardens, rides and a fair with traditional and modern entertainment; several stages with musicians await you at Forest Day on Oberforsthaus Square in Frankfurt’s city forest. Stoffel, June 19 – July 8, Günthersburg Park A diverse musical and cultural program, food, drinks, quiet dances, and the cherry on the program: the night flea market. Opernplatzfest, June 25 – July 4, Opernplatz A beautiful square, varied cultural performances, a musical program, and of course delicious food and drinks. Admission to all of these festivals is free.
