Post: Sometimes you have to figure out even complex topics

I'm a simple emigrant, but sometimes you have to figure out even complex topics

When talk of taxes comes up in Russia, people start to boil over, because they don’t see the results of these deductions. Let's take a look at taxes in Germany. Of course, it's a broad topic, but here are a few points. First, these deductions are made by the employer; no one goes and files any declarations themselves. On average, if you have no family or children, you'll pay about 40%. The difference is that here, when you're invited to work, you're told a salary that includes tax, then you figure out for yourself roughly how much you'll have in hand. In addition to the classic taxes (income, pension, health care), there are also some interesting ones here. For example, the solidarity tax with East Germany. It appeared after the fall of the Berlin Wall to reduce the socio-economic difference between the regions. And also, so that television does not slide into the propaganda weapon of the ruling regime, everyone pays here a television tax, regardless of whether you have a TV or not. And if, during registration, you say that you belong to some religion, then the church tax won't be long in coming. And I'm a simple emigrant, I'm already finding out what needs to be done there to get some back :) #Ordnung #taxes #money
